WINE DESCRIPTION
Custoza was one of the wines that were meant to be aged under the sea. It was also one of the very few wines that did not undergo a trial run for Coral Wine selection (usually, a smaller batch is aged prior to a bigger one that would be released to the market). Almost immediately, it was decided that a batch of 1,000 bottles would be made, with no prior testing.

Why? Because Custoza undeniably had all the makings for underwater aging. It had sharp, precise acidity, a wonderful flavour profile with lots of stone fruit, and a vibrant, racy texture that worked in harmony with its structure.

It evolved beautifully. Even after aging, the acidity is persistent, the texture is gritty, almost saline, with intense aromas of peach, white flowers, and bread. It is an astonishingly food-friendly wine that will pair well with just about anything but will also work as a standalone.
