WINE DESCRIPTION
Prestige is a Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with a splash of Malbec to enhance spiciness and give the wine a bit more body. It began as an elegant, fragrant wine with a spicy kick of black pepper. The red plums and cherries made it easy to drink despite its power, and the vanilla aromas gave it an overall smoothness in terms of smell and taste. It naturally has high acidity with firm yet polished tannins.

Aging it underwater resulted in a smoother, more polished wine. The fruit profile turned darker, and blackcurrants and black plums are predominant in terms of fruit. Sour dark cherries elevate the aroma profile, and chocolate and sweet spices give the wine the complexity worthy of the Bordeaux region. Although it's drinking well now, it can be cellared for years.
